YAMAMURA Koji (1964) created his first animated film when he was 13. After working as an animation background artist for several studios he founded his own company together with his wife. He has worked in claymation, stop motion and many other forms of animation. Lately he focuses more on traditional animation. His work has been lauded at prestigious festivals such as Annecy (France) and Animafest Zagreb.
YAMAMURA Koji (1964) maakte zijn eerste animatiefilm toen hij 13 was. Na bij verschillende studio’s aan de slag zijn geweest als background artist begon hij samen met zijn vrouw zijn eigen filmstudio. De veelzijdige animator heeft gewerkt in claymation, stop-motion en vele andere vormen van animatie, en focust zich de laatste tijd op wat meer traditionele animatie. Zijn werk is bekroond op vele prestigieuze festivals, zoals Annecy (Frankrijk) en Animafest Zagreb (Kroatië).
