Ema RYAN YAMAZAKI 山崎エマ was raised in Japan by her Japanese mother and British father, so she grew up navigating both Japanese and Western cultures. As both an insider and an outsider in Japan, she uses her unique storytelling perspective in her creative work. Her second feature-length documentary about the high school baseball phenomenon in Japan, Koshien: Japan’s Field of Dreams, premiered at DOC NYC and was released in the theatres in Japan.
