Sarah APPLETON サラ・アップルトン is a British director and producer of several documentary films about the history of genre cinema. She has also made a number of shorts zeroing in on a specific genre or filmmaker. In 2021 she co-directed the documentary feature The Found Footage Phenomenon, which charted the origins of the ‘found footage’ sub-genre of horror films.

Jasper SHARP ジャスパー・シャープ is a British film critic, scholar, director of documentaries and programmer for film festivals. In 2001 he and Tom MES co-founded the website MidnightEye.com, dedicated to Japanese cinema, which ran until 2015. He has written many articles and published several books on Japanese cinema, including The Midnight Eye Guide to New Japanese Film, Behind the Pink Curtain and The Historical Dictionary of Japanese Film.
