A middle-aged salary man can’t find anyone to talk to. Everybody in his life avoids him, having their own troubles to deal with. Feeling all alone in the huge city one night, he sees a man holding a glowing stick and helping people crossing the railway. Might this man be willing to listen to him?

Een kantoorklerk van middelbare leeftijd heeft niemand om mee te praten. Iedereen in zijn leven vermijdt hem, druk met hun eigen problemen. Als hij zich op een avond in de grote stad helemaal alleen voelt, ziet hij een man met een lichtgevende stok in zijn handen, die mensen helpt met het spoor oversteken. Zou deze man misschien naar hem willen luisteren?

KAWAZOE Bilal 川添ビイラル grew up biracial, bicultural and bilingual, all of which is often mirrored and represented in his work. His first short film was accepted at several international film festivals. This led him to work as on-set interpreter and assistant director with renowned filmmakers such as Kawase Naomi. His work includes commercials, music videos, documentaries as well as narrative short films.
