Toko is happily married and the mother of a cute daughter. She seems to have everything she could wish for, but when she meets a former lover a deep longing awakens in her. An intense romantic drama by director MISHIMA Yukiko, who previously made the beautiful Dear Etranger (CJ 2018). This literary film adaptation is an astute criticism of the traditional division of roles between men and women.

About the Director
MISHIMA Yukiko (三島 有紀子) has been shooting indie films since she was eighteen. After graduating, she started writing and directing documentaries for NHK. Her first feature film The Tattooer (2009) is based on the novel by TANIZAKI Junichiro. Her 2017 feature Dear Etranger was awarded the Special Grand Prix of the Jury award at the Montreal World Film Festival.
