Biopic about the life of MURAYAMA Satoshi (1969-1998), a highly talented player of shogi (Japanese chess). His love for the game was so immense that even when he was diagnosed with cancer, he refused treatment in order to continue fighting for the highest honour in the sport. Winner of numerous awards, mostly for actor MATSUYAMA Kenichi, who gained 26 kilos for the role of Satoshi.
