De 75-jarige Momoko is opeens alleen, na de plotselinge dood van haar man. Nu vult ze haar dagen met het lenen van boeken uit de bibliotheek, en maakt aantekeningen in haar notitieboekje over de hele 4,6 miljard jaren aan geschiedenis van de Aarde. Totdat op een dag haar innerlijke stem wordt belichaamd door drie verschijningen, die haar met een vleugje jazz doen denken aan haar jeugd. OKITA Shuichi 沖田修一 won the 7th Mito Short Film Festival Grand Prix in 2002 with Pots and Friends. In 2009 he made his commercial film debut with The Chef of South Polar, a film that won him many accolades. His third feature film The Woodsman and the Rain received the Jury prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival and won three awards at the Dubai International Film Festival. Since then all his movies have won national or international prizes.
