Postal worker Hajime is living life one second faster than most people around him. After a few failed relationships, he finally lands a date with the woman of his dreams, but when he wakes up on Monday, he realizes that he has lost the entire Sunday. In his search for the lost day, he comes across Reika, a woman who lives her life one second behind. A magical, time bending romcom adaption of the Taiwanese hit film My Missing Valentine.

YAMASHITA Nobuhiro 山下敦弘 is a graduate of Osaka University of Arts. His graduation film, Hazy Life, earned him his first award at the 2000 Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. He has been recognized internationally with works screened at Busan International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and Tokyo International Film Festival. His first popular success came with Linda Linda Linda in 2005. Since then he has built a substantial reputation for himself in Japanese cinema. In the past year or two, YAMASHITA has been on something of a creative roll. CAMERA JAPAN 2024 will present not one but five (5!) of his films.
