Kazuya and his friends spend most of their time boozing, gambling and terrorising the neighbourhood in the sleepy coastal town of Oiso. All four of them work for the construction company of Kazuya’s uncle, but after he suddenly dies under mysterious circumstances, their monotonous existence is turned upside down. Intriguing crime film that keeps surprising with its non-linear narrative. About the Director
MISAWA Takuya (三澤拓哉) is a film director, scriptwriter, and producer. His debut feature Chigasaki Stories (2014) was an instant success, which screened at various film festivals around the world including the 44th International Film Festival Rotterdam. His second feature The Murders of Oiso (2019) premiered at the 24th Busan International Film Festival.
