Guided by her grandfather’s World War II diary, Sora searches for a mysterious treasure in the wilderness of her hometown. She bumps into a homeless man wordlessly walking backward into town. This man might just provide the key to repair the shattered relationship with her father. Gripping, original drama, filmed in stunning black & white.

Sora zoekt in de wildernis van haar thuisstad naar een mysterieuze schat, met haar grootvaders dagboek uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog als gids. Ze loopt daar een dakloze man tegen het lijf, die zonder een woord te zeggen achteruit loopt. Mogelijk is hij de sleutel tot het lijmen van de gebroken relatie tussen Sora en haar vader. Een origineel drama dat je bij de lurven grijpt en in prachtig zwart-wit is gefilmd.

Anshul CHAUHAN was born in north India in 1986. After attending military academy and graduating from university with an arts degree, he soon found work as an animator. In 2011, he relocated to Tokyo where he eventually found himself working on many projects, including the Pacman animated series and the game Final Fantasy 15. CHAUHAN also pursues his personal passion as a director. He has set up the independent studio Kowatanda Films, which so far has produced three shorts and two feature films.
