Each year at CAMERA JAPAN, we like to surprise our visitors in between movies with several special performances, which we call interventions. This year will be a bit different, of course, but you can still expect the following acts to pop up unannounced.
Traditiegetrouw vinden er tijdens CAMERA JAPAN op meerdere momenten onaangekondigde ‘interventies’ plaats, die variëren van muziek tot dans en beeldende kunst. Dit jaar is alles natuurlijk een beetje anders, maar we zijn dolblij dat we de volgende kunstenaars hebben kunnen strikken voor speciale optredens.
Duo Concert by Utako & Ayumi from JAPONE
JAPONE is a Japanese theatrical group that started out in 2016 and has been performing internationally ever since. Due to COVID-19 only two performers are allowed on stage at CAMERA JAPAN this year. But ARAKAWA Utako (Soprano/Vocals) & MATSUDA Ayumi (Recorder) are going to give a duo recital of beautiful Japanese classic, contemporary and original music.

JAPONE will give two performances on Saturday 26 September. They are at 16:15 before the screening of Taro the Fool, and at 18:45 before the screening of One Summer Story. Each performance is about 15 minutes.
