About the Director
MURAHASHI Naoki (村橋直樹) started his career as a director of TV shows and documentaries for NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). Murahashi’s first feature film, Extro (2019) is a mockumentary dedicated to the usually anonymous extras he encountered while working on TV shows. Extro has become an international success. The film has screened at several film festivals including the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and the Okinawa International Film Festival.
