Come get your pre-festival fix of Japanese film and soak up some of the Japanese vibes at Shofukan in Rotterdam this Friday evening. We have a black comedy lined up for you. Lowlife Love, 2015, is a satirical depiction of the bottom layer of the Japanese film industry “populated by rebels, failures, wannabes and gangsters.” Directed by UCHIDA Eiji who also wrote the script based on anecdotes from his years in the industry, and produced by Third Window Films. Starring SHIBUKAWA Kiyohiko.
